Here is an important lesson I learned, not only through trial and error but also by doing it.
In an emotional ‘battle’ with someone else, don’t vomit your emotions all over them. It will only cause a rip in the relationship that could fester into a disease so massive, no amount of forgiveness could heal it. Instead, keep your mouth closed, walk away and move to a place where you can get control of not only your emotions but any other negative feelings you may be harboring towards the other person.
As my mama used to say, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.”
